Silvanberry

Glossy red/black berries appear from November to February. They are very juicy and sweet but fragile.

Habit - Vigorous long canes smothered in very fine sharp prickles. Canes are not easily bent but do need support. Broad ovate leaves.

Size - 1.8m x 1.5m. Canes can reach 6-7 metres in length.

Pollination - Self-fertile.

Harvest - Will reach full production after about 3 years. Harvest from November to February when the fruit is in full colour and easily removed.
